6. Google Services
a) General information about Google
We use various services provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, on our website.
By integrating Google services, Google may collect information (including personal data) and process it. It cannot be ruled out that the data may be transferred by Google to servers in a third country.
Google LLC, USA, is certified by the Data Privacy Framework and is also bound by standard contractual clauses. The certificate can be found at: policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks; www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list.
For more information on the standard contractual clauses, please visit ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection/standard-contractuals-clauses-scc_en.
We ourselves cannot influence which data Google actually collects and processes. However, Google states that the following information (including personal data) may be processed:
- Log data (in particular the IP address)
- Location-related information
- Unique application numbers
- Cookies and similar technologies
Information about the types of cookies used by Google can be found at policies.google.com/technologies/types.
If you are logged into your Google account, Google may add the processed information to your account and treat it as personal data, depending on your account settings.
If you are logged into a Google account, we also collect data that we store in your Google account and consider to be personal data. (https://privacy.google.com/take-control.html)

b) Google Ads
We use Google Ads and conversion tracking, an online advertising service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, in our online store. “Google Ads” is an online advertising program for search and display ads and so-called conversion tracking (an evaluation of visitor actions). Google conversion tracking is an analysis service and uses a so-called pixel, which we integrate into our web shop for data collection.
The following data is processed:
- Campaign data (e.g., click behavior, impression ads)
- Conversions: (e.g., number of conversions, conversion rate, timestamp, type of conversion)
- Age
- Gender
- Location (country, region, city)
- Areas of interest based on surfing behavior
- Affinity category
- Intent category
- Devices used (desktop, smartphone, tablet)
- Operating system and browser
When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer. This cookie expires after 30 days, does not contain any personal data, and therefore cannot be used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the stored cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that someone has clicked on the ad and been redirected to our website or web shop. Each Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can thus be tracked via the websites of ad customers. The assignment is made via a statistical evaluation of non-personal data, but via aggregated or pseudonymized data.
Information on the transfer of data from us to Google in the USA and other relevant data on data processing by Google in connection with the use of Google services can be found in this privacy policy under section 6. Google Services.
In addition, you can find more detailed information about the information processed at www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ under “Data we receive based on your use of our services” and at privacy.google.com/businesses/adsservices/.
By integrating Google Ads, we pursue the following purposes:
- Ad personalization: We want to show you ads that are relevant to you.
- Performance measurement: Data is used to analyze the effectiveness of ads (e.g., conversion tracking).
The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
The legal basis for processing the data collected when obtaining consent is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
We have a legitimate interest in being able to prove that you have given your consent to the measurement procedure (Art. 7 (1) GDPR).
The data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to provide the function. The storage period for the respective cookies can be found in the cookie banner.
Your rights:
